Why Use A Campervan Rental For Your Next Vacation
Find spontaneity on your road trip with your San Bernardino campervan rental. Stay at a national park with no worry about rain or bad weather. Then, it’s off to anywhere you want without a care in the world. With an Escape Campervan, you’re wandering as you want to, knowing that each campervan trip is special.
What makes a campervan vacation so special? The campervan, of course! All our campers are intuitive to drive and come with a bed, a kitchen with a two-burner propane stove, and a one-of-a-kind look. Unlike an oversized RV, campervans handle just like a car and should be able to park on most tent camping sites. You can even disperse camp with your Escape campervan — just remember to follow the Leave No Trace philosophy.
What San Bernardino Campervan Rental Will You Need?
You will have plenty of choices when choosing your San Bernardino campervan rental. Most choices come down to campervan size, storage space, and where you’re going.
The Mavericks campervan is our most popular van. With the Mavericks, there’s a spacious queen-size bed, a fold-away table and seats, a 2-burner propane stove, built-in fridge, and sink. It’s a safe choice if you want a quick trip to Venice Beach. Or, the Mavericks have enough room for a longer campout at Joshua Tree National Park. Tack on a rooftop sleeper, and the kids can get their own personal sleeping space.
The Big Sur campervan is a scance more spacious than the Mavericks and brings you more legroom for your family. You still can use the 2-burner Coleman propane stove in the back, but you shouldn’t have to move the bucket seats in order to use the campervan’s bed. It’s perfect if you want some extra storage space or for those expansive excursions out of state.
For more agile options, try the Santa Cruz campervan or the Jeep Camper. You still find the bed and kitchen, but you’ll find they have a smaller footprint. These models work superbly for last-minute trips or couple’s vacations. *These models are only offered in certain states.

Two distinct desert ecosystems, the Mojave and the Colorado, come together in Joshua Tree National Park. A fascinating variety of plants and animals make their homes in a land sculpted by strong winds and occasional torrents of rain. Dark night skies, a rich cultural history, and surreal geologic features add to the wonder of this vast wilderness in southern California. Come explore for yourself.
Joshua Tree National Park is open 24 hours a day and may be visited at any time of the year. Visitation increases as temperatures moderate in the fall, peaks during the spring wildflower season, and diminishes during the heat of summer. Some areas of the park are designated for day use only. Visitor centers keep separate hours; please see descriptions.
