Camper van road trip ideas from Seattle
After you pick up your van, we recommend checking out the city of Seattle to load up on supplies and see the sights the city has to offer. Take a quick ferry ride on Puget Sound while you take in the sights of the cascades and Mount Rainier. Or head to the famous Pike’s Place market, to see a fish toss. Be sure and stop at the famous Pike’s Place chowder just off the main street and enjoy any of their world-famous chowders. If you’re traveling with kids, the Seattle Aquarium is a family-friendly attraction to seek out as well.
From downtown Seattle, you are just a few hours from Mount Rainier, Olympic, and North Cascades National Parks. Or head north and visit Vancouver and explore Canada’s iconic Canadian Rockies and breathtaking National Parks. Also, since Portland, Oregon, is just three hours away, take a stop there and learn why everyone raves about the delicious food, and then head along the Oregon coast or inland to discover the famous waterfall hikes.
