Your Orange County Campervan Rental Starts With Escape
When you want an Orange County campervan rental, try Escape Campervans. Our Los Angeles campervan rental location is just over the bend and a great way to begin your next adventure. By picking up your van in Los Angeles, you’re ready to go to Venice Beach, the Santa Monica Pier, or Marina Del Rey. Or head off to a U.S. tour in your fully outfitted campervan.
Why Choose A Campervan Rental For The Ultimate Road Trip
Your Orange County camper van rental brings a new level of spontaneity. Sleep at a state park without worrying about rain or bad weather. Then, head off to parts unknown with no pre-paid itineraries to conform to. With an Escape Campervan, you’re exploring as you see fit, knowing that every campervan outing is epically different.
What makes a campervan road trip so awesome? The campervan, of course! All our vans are easy to drive and have a bed, 2 burner propane, and an iconic paint job. Unlike a cumbersome RV, campervans handle just like a car and should be able to park on most tent camping pads. You can even disperse camp with your Escape campervan — just take extra care to follow the Leave No Trace ideals.
What Orange County Campervan Rental Is Right For You?
You have plenty of models when choosing your Orange County campervan rental. Most choices come down to vehicle size, passenger space, and where you’re going.
The Mavericks campervan is our most asked about campervan. With the Mavericks, you get a comfy queen-size bed, a fold-away table and seats, a two-burner propane stove, dual-powered refrigerator, and sink. It’s an easy pick if you want a quick getaway to Venice Beach. Still, the Mavericks has enough room for a family campout at Joshua Tree National Park. Add on a rooftop sleeper, and a family of five has enough room to lay down.
The Big Sur campervan is a little more spacious than our other models and offers you more legroom for your crew. You still get a full stove in the van, but you shouldn’t have to fold down the back seats in order to use the van’s bed. This model is perfect if you want to camp with a little extra storage space or a comfy ride for longer excursions further away.
For more compact models, try the Santa Cruz model or the Jeep Camper. You still find the kitchen and bed but have a much smaller footprint. These vehicles work well for last-minute trips or intimate vacations. *The Santa Cruz and Jeep Camper are only offered in certain depots.

About Joshua Tree National Park
Two distinct desert ecosystems, the Mojave and the Colorado, come together in Joshua Tree National Park. A fascinating variety of plants and animals make their homes in a land sculpted by strong winds and occasional torrents of rain. Dark night skies, a rich cultural history, and surreal geologic features add to the wonder of this vast wilderness in southern California. Come explore for yourself.
Joshua Tree National Park is open 24 hours a day and may be visited at any time of the year. Visitation increases as temperatures moderate in the fall, peaks during the spring wildflower season, and diminishes during the heat of summer. Some areas of the park are designated for day use only. Visitor centers keep separate hours; please see descriptions.
