Our most popular campervan is the Mavericks. This Escape campervan has a soft queen-size bed, foldaway in-van table and benches, a 2-burner propane stove, dual powered refrigerator, and a sink. The Mavericks is ideal for romantic getaways to Sequoia. But it can sleep 5, so feel free to bring the whole family. We also offer rooftop sleepers if you’d like your kids to sleep on their own.
If you need more room for your family and gear, or if taking a longer, more epic trip, look into the Big Sur campervan. With the Big Sur you get the same amenities as the Mavericks. Yet you have more space so that you don’t need to fold down the bucket seats to make your queen-size bed. The Big Sur also has additional storage space for all your gear. You can even go for the rooftop sleeper.
For individual travelers or couples, consider the Santa Cruz campervan model. This still gives you the usefulness of our bigger campervan models in a compact form. *The Santa Cruz Camper is only offered at our Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas depots.

The Best Way To Get To Sequoia From Los Angeles!
Starting from the Los Angeles Escape depot, it should take about 3.5 hours to get to Sequoia, heading north on CA-65 N. Once you reach Sequoia National Park, use the Ash Mountain Entrance. Entry fees are $35 for cars and are valid for 7 days in both Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Entrance to Sequoia and Kings Canyon is included if you own a National Park pass.
What Are Awesome Places To Camp At Sequoia National Park?
Sequoia and Kings Canyon Parks have 14 campgrounds between them. Most campgrounds are first-come, first-serve, but a few do accept reservations. The busy season runs from March through September, and only three campgrounds are open year-round. Campgrounds do not have RV hookups, which isn’t a big deal for campervan camping.
The most popular campsites are at Lodgepole Campground close to the Giant Forest area or Potwisha Campground. For smaller, more intimate campsites, you can try Buckeye Flat or Cold Springs. Or try dispersed camping outside Sequoia with your Escape campervan. Remember, dispersed camping sites don’t have any modern amenities, so you want to abide by the Leave No Trace principles.
