Death Valley National Park Campervan Rentals

Book A Campervan

When you’re traveling to Death Valley National Park, make sure you book an Escape campervan. Start your unforgettable trip at our Las Vegas campervan depot. Then begin your journey to see Titus Canyon, the salt flats, and everything the park has to offer. With a Death Valley campervan rental you’re able to stow away your luggage and equipment in an easy-to-drive home base. Then, after a long day, make yourself a delicious dinner from your mobile kitchen and unwind in a soft queen-size bed.

*We strongly recommend that you don’t go to Death Valley between May 1 and September 30. During the summer, temperatures can reach 130 degrees in the valley. Our Roadside Assistance and Insurance will not cover you if your van breaks down during these months.

Forget RVs, Get A Death Valley Campervan Rental For The Ultimate Trip

You’ve probably known friends who used a Death Valley National Park RV rental for their vacation. However, there are many benefits of booking a campervan rental instead. An Escape campervan has many amenities that an RV does, but in a cooler, more agile form. Similar to an RV, a campervan comes with a kitchen, a table and bench, and a queen-size bed. However, all of it’s much more compact so that it’s easy to use. The bed only unfolds when you’d like to use it, and you just open the back doors to use the kitchen. So it’s like you have a hidden campsite ready to be unleashed at any moment.

When you get a campervan rental, your adventure isn’t limited to the main roads or full RV campsites. Your campervan can easily fit into more private tent sites. And campervans don’t require the electric or sewer hookups like an RV does. Campervans also work well for dispersed camping!

But Which Escape Campervan Should You Rent For Death Valley ?

There are a few things to consider when deciding on which Escape Campervan to take on your trip. We offer the Mavericks, Big Sur, and Santa Cruz at the Las Vegas depot.

Our most popular campervan is the Mavericks. This Escape campervan gives you a comfortable queen-size bed, foldaway in-van table and benches, a 2-burner propane stove, dual powered refrigerator, and a sink. The Mavericks is ideal for private getaways. But it can sleep 5, so feel free to bring the whole family. We also offer rooftop sleepers if you want your kids to sleep on their own.

If you need additional room for your family and gear, or if you’re planning on a longer road trip, looking into the Big Sur campervan. Here you get the same amenities as the Mavericks. Yet, it’s big enough that you don’t need to fold down the bucket seats to set up your queen-size bed. The Big Sur also has more storage space. So feel free to take extra gear for hiking. You can also get the optional rooftop sleeper.

For individual travelers or couples, we recommend the Santa Cruz campervan model. This model provides the functionalities of our larger campervan models in a smaller package. *The Santa Cruz is only offered at certain depots.

All campervans rentals include our one-of-a-kind hand-painted exteriors that let you show your adventurous side. You can even rent campervan extras for Death Valley such as picnic tables, tents, and child safety seats to make your trip even better.

Great Campsites At Death Valley National Park

Like many Escape campervan renters, you could stay at Furnace Creek, which is open all year. The campsite takes reservations from Oct 15 – Apr 15 and is first-come first-served during the other months. Other popular campsites like Sunset or Texas Springs are closed for the summer, due to intense heat. They don’t take reservations at any time.

For out-of-the-way campsites, make your way over to Mesquite Spring or Wildrose. Or give dispersed camping a go just outside Death Valley in your Escape campervan. Just remember, dispersed camping sites don’t have any modern amenities, so use the Leave No Trace principles.
