Campervan Rental Havasu Falls

Book A Campervan

If you’re vacationing to Havasu Falls, make sure you book an Escape campervan to take the trip. Start your vacation at our Phoenix campervan rental depot. Then head to the trailhead at Hualapai Hilltop where you can hike in and see Havasu Falls, Supai Village, and everything the Havasupai Indian Reservation has to offer.

When you get a campervan rental for Havasu Falls, you will have plenty of room to pack all of your camping equipment and food to take to the falls. And you have a great home base to rest up at the trailhead before you hike in and then relax at once you come back.

Forget RVs, Get A Campervan Rental for Havasu Falls For The Ultimate Experience

You may know friends who had a Havasu Falls RV rental for their getaway. But there are multiple benefits of getting a campervan rental instead. An Escape campervan has many amenities that an RV does, but in a cooler, more agile package. Like an RV, a campervan offers a working kitchen, a table and seating, and a queen-size bed. However, everything is smaller, so everything is easy to use. The kitchen and bed only pull out when you need them. So it’s like you have a secret campsite just waiting to be unfurled whenever you need it.

But Which Escape Campervan Should You Rent For Your Trip?

There are a couple of things to consider when figuring out which Escape Campervan to take. We have the Mavericks and Big Sur at the Phoenix depot, which have different sizes and amenities.

Our most popular campervan is the Mavericks. This Escape campervan gives you a soft queen-size bed, foldaway in-van table and benches, a 2-burner propane stove, dual powered refrigerator, and a sink. The Mavericks is perfect for romantic getaways to the Southwest region. But it can sleep 5, so feel free to bring friends, too.

If you’d like extra room for your family and gear, or if you’re going on a longer, more epic trip, you might want to try the Big Sur campervan. Here you get the same amenities as the Mavericks. Yet it’s large enough that you don’t have to fold down the bucket seats to unfold your queen-size bed. The Big Sur also includes additional storage space for camping and other equipment. You can also use the rooftop sleeper.

All campervans rentals feature our unique hand-painted exteriors. You can even rent campervan extras for your trip like picnic tables, tents, and child safety seats, so you don’t have to bring everything from home. And with every rental, you’ll get excellent customer care and 24/7 roadside assistance at no charge!

Where Can You Pick Up Your Campervan Rental for Havasu Falls?

You’ll need to pick up your Escape campervan in Phoenix or Las Vegas to begin your campervan trip to Havasu Falls. Our Phoenix location is on E Jefferson St, which is only a five-minute Lyft, Uber, or cab ride from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

Our Phoenix campervan depot staff will show you around your Escape campervan, so you understand how everything works. Don’t forget to ask any questions you have before leaving the depot — especially about Havasu Falls. We’ll offer recommendations that will help make your adventure even better!

Getting To Havasu Falls From Phoenix

From the Phoenix Escape depot, it should take about four hours to reach the trailhead at Hualapai Hilltop, heading north, starting on I-17 North. You’ll hike from Hualapai Hilltop eight miles into the Havasupai Indian Reservation to Supai Village and then another two miles to the campground. You can also take a helicopter into the village, but it can be expensive and may not be available.

We recommend planning your trip to arrive at Hualapai Hilltop the day before you plan to hike in. Please note that reservations are necessary to hike into the Havasupai Indian Reservation and visit Supai Village and Havasu Falls. Reservations fill up fast the day they open up permits for the year (usually around Feb 1), so plan well in advance. The 2020 camping prices are $100/person/weekday night and $125/person/weekend night and include hiking access into the park. All permits are for three nights.

Where Do I Camp In Havasu Falls?

We recommend camping overnight in your campervan at Hualapai Hilltop before you visit Havasu Falls. When you have a campervan, you can relax in your queen-sized bed and have a kitchen to prep your camping meals. If you arrive the night before, we recommend cooking a warm dinner and a small breakfast at the trailhead before hiking in. Then once you return, you can make lunch from your campervan.

Once you hike in, there’s only one main campground in Havasupai. You can pick up your camping permit at Supai Village. Camping spots are not assigned but are on a first-come, first-served basis. You can camp on either side of the creek that runs through the campsite. You can also make a reservation to stay at the lodge within the village.
