An update to our Mesa model, the Del Mar is our only pop up campervan. The Del Mar provides our standard amenities of a kitchen and queen-sized bed with updated interior features, extra storage space, and an additional double bed in the interior pop-up addition of the camper van!

We took our largest campervan, the Mesa, and gave it the ultimate upgrade.
What’s new? The Del Mar gives you the ability to stand while inside the vehicle, enough room to sleep 5 comfortably (without ever leaving the van), and more bells and whistles than any other Escape model, including USB chargers & lighting built directly into the pop top campervan. Similar to the Mesa, you can keep the rear bucket seats up when you put the bed down (perfect for families with car seats). Drawers and compartments underneath the back benches provide extra storage and organization.

It was our second experience with Escape Campervan, surely not the last. In 2022 with the Big Sur in Banff and Jasper areas, this time with the Del Mar in Oregon and Cascade Mountain range. We are a family of 5 (kids are 14-12-7 yo), and we were comfortable to sleep and for the seating.Everywhere we went, people noticed the van, talked to us, and we were absolutely satisfied with the van, no technical issues. The staff in Portland was helpful and kind, big thanks to their team!Pictures of our « Au Natural » van!

We had the most wonderful Escape Campervan vacay, originating in Las Vegas, and including Red Rocks Canyon, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Sedona, Page, AZ, Zion Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Valley of Fire, and then back to Las Vegas. We LOVED our Mesa Van (previously known as Big Sur). The crew at the Las Vegas location was great, and got us on the road very quickly. The van worked flawlessly and, as always, had all the features we needed at a very reasonable price. We LOVE Escape Campervans and expect to take another journey sometime in the near future. Keep up the great work!

Great van rental! Easy pick up and drop off. We had the Big Sur van and it was easy to drive! Cute paint job. Plenty of room inside for sleeping and storage. However, I do wish there were some kind of vents or way to open the windows in the sleeping area, so we didn't have to sleep with the back doors open. Las Vegas is a hot place to not have any ventilation. Be aware that the van is rear-wheel drive only, not 4WD!

Rented the Big Sur, which we felt was just enough space for 2 people. Enjoyed the rooftop tent for better air circulation as we stayed in Arizona. Small issue with grey line being clogged, but it was quickly resolved by having a technician come to us. Overall, it was a unique and fun way to explore on our holiday. Flexibility with having the same bed every night. No regrets I'd recommend this as an option for anyone wanting to explore.
