What our customers say about the Mavericks Campervan model:

We have rented a Maverick van twice from this location for a trip to Yellowstone/Grand Teton and most recently to Arches/Canyonlands. We had great experiences with the vans times both times. Even with no prior exposure to driving larger vehicles, they are comfortable to drive and both of our vans were in good condition. Camping-wise, the fold out bed sleeps two easily (I’m 6’2”). We used the kitchen a lot on our first trip so the kitchen set rental was super useful. And last but not least, Javier at the SLC location was super helpful during pick up and drop off. We’d definitely recommend renting vans from Escape and the SLC location is very convenient for trips to all the local National Parks. We’ll be renting here again for sure!

We rented The Escape Mavericks campervan for a 14-day tour of the Southwest and had a great experience from beginning to end. Customer service was professional and Daniel at the Phoenix location went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our trip. The van itself was basic but rugged and dependable. The unique art on each van is definitely an appealing feature and great conversation starter! Would highly-recommend!!

We rented the Maverick and traveled from LA to Salt Lake City Utah! The van did incredible for the full 1700+ mile trip. The van had everything we could have needed with the extra kitchen kit and linen kit.In the future, I’d maybe rent the next van size up. Those models tend to be a little newer and I think you don’t have to undo and remake the bed to have some extra seating. There was a slight issue with the water tank but Escape took care of it and provided me with a rebate. Can’t recommend enough!

We picked up a Maverick for a road trip of the Mighty 5 in Utah. The building was only 10-15 mins from the Salt Lake City airport, pick up was fairly quick and easy, and their add-on packages were very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the van was in good condition. The van was awesome to have at the campsites. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and it was really nice to just be able to roll into a campsite at night without having to set up a tent or worry about the wind blowing your stuff away (at some sites). Drop off was really quick and easy too. Awesome company! Only wish there more locations on the east coast.
