I rented the Santa Cruz to Jushua Tree NP for the weekend.I really like the van. Compact and gas efficient. Good to drive, no mechanical issues.Clean and solid interior. The bed was big for one person and comfortable, lots of storage space.They gave an extract blanket, which is a lifesaver for winter temperature.

Generalmente la experiencia ha sido buena, aunque no perfecta.Para hacer el check in tuvimos que esperarnos casi una hora, a pesar de haber reservado una franja horaria. Reservamos también una serie de extras (sillas de camping, kitchen kit, bedding kit, etc) y para nuestra sorpresa se les habían agotado los bedding kit y la solar shower a pesar de haber hecho la reserva con mucha antelación. Tuvimos que comprar en un Target los extras que reservamos (y pagamos) y no nos incluyeron y luego nos hicieron un reembolso de los gastos.La furgoneta era el modelo Santa Cruz, que es una Ford Transit Connect, del 2015 con bastantes millas conducidas y que consume UNA BARBARIDAD teniendo en cuenta lo pequeña que es la furgoneta, suerte que la gasolina en Estados Unidos es barata, independientemente del estado en el que vayas. En nuestro caso, la furgoneta estaba en buen estado de mantenimiento y no tuvimos ningún fallo mecánico.A tener en cuenta: cuando abres cualquier puerta de las Ford Transit Connect SIEMPRE se quedan unas luces de posición encendidas que no se pueden apagar de ninguna manera, esto puede conllevar que se acabe la batería del coche.Al hacer el check out fueron bastante rápidos pero tuvimos que pagar millas extras y nos tenían que abonar las cosas que tuvimos que comprar en Target y hubieron algunos problemas (nada graves y que se arreglaron rápido) con el precio final que tuvimos que pagar, tuvimos que estar bastante encima con el chico que nos atendió porque inicialmente nos dijo que teníamos que pagar un precio mucho más elevado de lo que tocaba .Finalmente, el servicio de atención al cliente funcionó muy bien, fueron muy rápidos, eficaces y amables.

Had a higher mileage Santa Cruz van. The van ran great, 25+mpg. Interior was a little beat up (that’s expected given the high mileage). Overall good experience. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.
