The team at Escape go to great lengths to ensure you receive a first class vehicle, everything you need and in depth local knowledge to make your Campervan holiday the trip of a lifetime.
Our team are a well travelled crew who are passionate about our Campervans, country and customer satisfaction.
A large percentage of our business has been driven from referrals and Escape Campervans have been labelled as 'Campervan Rentals best budget travel option', but don't take our word for it, below are some reviews sent in from a few of our clients.
I don't even know where to begin with my words of gratitude and praise about this company. I can start by simply saying every part of the process from booking to returning the van was my absolute pleasure. We loved every inch of our Mavericks home for the 7 days we had it.
Even after returning home we chose to sleep in the van the one last night we had it because we enjoyed it so much.
It's funny because companies pay out millions in training seminars for customer service and goto extreme lengths and claim to be "Number 1".
But from Starbucks to The Ritz Carlton I have never encountered such genuine "customer service" and friendliness as I have with Escape.
Escape is TRULY unrivaled when it comes to service and customer satisfaction. Chris made the entire process a breeze and was helpful every step of the way.
Going out of his way to make sure we had all the necessary amenities for our trip. The canopy he got us made the world a difference for our weekend at Coachella.
I still cannot express enough how grateful I am that this company exists. Consider myself and my 3 friends living advertisements for Escape. Please stay just the way you are because we plan on renting for many years to come!

When we returned the campervan last summer (still cry myself to sleep some
nights that we had to do that...) you said that you haven't had the chance
to take a good picture of the 'toad'.
So here are some of the pics we took, maybe they can be useful for you.
Thanks again for everything, we had the best time ever and are
recommending you to every single person who wants to hear it. And even if
they don't want to hear it.

Just wanted to drop you guys a note to say what an amazing time we had traveling through California with your van - Tattoo. Or who we renamed Billy, due to his cool Rockabilly style!
I think cruising in one of your vans is definitely the best way to experience California, the whole trip was amazing from start to finish including the brilliant service you guys provided.
After 800 miles of road tripping with my husband and 9 month old son, I can confidently say that I am somewhat of an expert on this type of vacation. So what advice can I offer all of you? It’s simple really: if you are planning a road trip in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami or New Zealand area you need to look into Escape Campervans. Let me rephrase that — you NEED to plan a road trip in one of these areas so that you can rent from this company...

We're back in Tampa and still fully enjoying our memories of a great holiday in California in our 'Funky Frog Van'. Our first holiday with baby Olaf was better than we could have dreamed of and the van took a big part in this success.
It made camping with our little one, less than a year old, easy and gave us the freedom to ride wherever we wanted to, sleep whenever we wanted to and see whatever we wanted to. If there are any people out there having second thoughts about camping with a baby: stop thinking and rent an Escape!!
Feel free to use this text on your website, every word is meant :-) Also feel free to pick some of the attached pictures to post on there as well. Thanks again for your great service and the great van!
All the best,

Just a quick note to say we had the best time ever on our honeymoon, and we couldn't have picked a better camper van company than you guys. From the moment we booked, right up to the sad farewell of dropping off the van. It’s funny how you become quite attached to them and their individual character. We managed to travel quite a few miles during the 2 weeks we had, and it was reassuring to know that we had a reliable van to take us to many places we had only read in guide books!
We were so impressed we have recommended you to a friend who is on his way in March next year, and said you won’t travel in a more funky van than the Escape van, and it was great to wave to other Escape van drivers on our travels, it was like being part of a family!
Well done guy’s and keep them travellers smiling.

We have to give a massive plug to Escape Campervans who have a whole heap of brilliant vans for hire! Honestly the best way of travelling around California and really good rental prices too! Our van had everything we needed (minus a toilet & shower) including a really good comfy bed and a little kitchen in the back where we ate breakfast from most mornings.
Every van is painted with a different airbrushed design and we thought our ocean theme was one of the best. We had the van for 34 days and could have continued our travel in it for a lot longer.
It was quite liberating knowing that everything we really needed was in such a small space and we could go wherever and whenever we wanted. Our experience with the van has made us think seriously about buying one when we get home to Oz and travel around for a while…..and of course get it painted with a very funky design! View entire Blog

Escape campers were the only choice for us affordable, easy to deal with and a great bunch of guys to work with with.
The vans are awesome and I was fortunate enough to see them painting our Campervan for our road trip. A great set up in the van with everything you need for a weekend away or for the road trip of a life time! we covered 9100 miles during our hiring time and explored pretty much the circumference of the States in 4 weeks, (a hell of a mission but we did it in style) driver comfort with cruise control and great a/c and a good driving throne for those long Texan roads. Fridge in the rear is good to keep things cold while on the road and rear a/c a must for the backseat passenger during those 110-116 degree days.
The bedding is a great arrangement with ample room for 2 and if need be you can sleep 3 without too much contact!! easy to pullout and great comfort in the pit! Deck chairs a must for camping and roadside eating while you fire up that fantastic wee cooker and fry up you roadside delights. Be assured you will get plenty of looks whilst cruising in these beasts of the road.
Truly awesome experience, hassle free and friendly and you get to deal with real people not some idiot in a office overseas... and no hidden costs no plus tax plus fees plus this and plus that just one price and that's it.
Many thanks guys the van made it a real road trip and a bloody great time.

"Special thanks to Stu and his friends. They were our first USA Clients who waited patiently for 3 days in Los Angeles waiting for us to complete the first Campervan of our USA build in 2009. After Day 4 their patience ran out and they turned up to our depot with tools in hand.
They applied their electrical and Carpentry skills to speed up the completion of their Campervan so they could start their epic Road trip"
Hi Rob & Escape-Team
Just want to drop a line to let you know that we really had a great time with your "Tree Hugger Van". We enjoyed our trip a lot and can highly recommend your company to anyone who likes to travel through the United States.
Thank you very much again for the great service. All the very best to all of you.

I was completely skeptical about this experience, especially with a 2- year old, but I cannot say enough good things about it.
First of all, I am embarrassed to imagine how many times I looked at a camper with total disdain and swore I would never do such a thing. I was always a hike-in-and-camp-for-many-days person.
But these things are awesome.
Starting with the customer service: you just don't get customer service like this any more. We worked with Chris and Jimmy, two of the nicest people I have come across in a long time. It was as if they WANTED to help us and were willing to make sure we had an amazing time. You know when you are in a rental car office and you just want to get the keys and go? Well I was so enjoying chatting with Jimmy on the couch that I kind of just wanted to hang out!
Anyway, the van itself was amazing and such a great way to travel. We had tons of space - much more than I expected - and there is something really fun about tooting down the coast of california while sitting at a table. The middle of the van folded down easily into a bed that my toddler could nap on, so we weren't limited to getting back to a hotel or house to get him in a crib, and we found ourselves MUCH more mobile than we would have been if we were attempting to backpack or stay in a hotel.
Having the kitchen in the back was also incredibly useful - keeping snacks and food on hand and not having to pull over every time we were hungry, and be able to keep all those yummy California cheese and beers cool for the trip made it all the more of a success.
I am not sure I will ever go back to any other way of cruising around California!

We absolutely loved our van and our experience with your company.
It worked out perfectly for us since we have relatives strung out along the West Coast from Salinas to Seattle.
So we could drive when and where we wanted and see them all. The van was comfortable and warm even in January.
The biggest "problem" was the generous storage space: We had to keep telling each other "Before you buy that remember, it may fit in the VAN but will it fit in the suitcase when we fly home?
In addition to seeing all our relatives in a laid back way and camping in some of the most beautiful spots in the world, the other fun thing about our trip was the reactions of people as we drove by. In Ashland, Oregon, we actually had a guy taking pictures in awe of the artwork.
We have been telling people how much we enjoyed our trip and plan to rent from you again the next time we come out to the West.
I hope you expand!
It would be great if you opened in Chicago and Seattle. (Great for us,I mean).
Thanks a lot.Jeanne Forsberg------

Fun Guy rattled and chattered down the dusty, rutted dirt road while my wife, Gillian, anxiously looked through the windshield.
"No one knows where we are," she said. We weren't sure ourselves, driving somewhere through the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument in southern Utah, searching for Cottonwood Canyon and a campsite.
Our colorful, rented camper-van, nicknamed "Fun Guy," had served us well on the trip so far, through a hot night at Red Rock Canyon outside Las Vegas and three cool nights at Mather Campground in the Grand Canyon. Fun Guy came with a bed, small fridge, sink, camp stove, plates and silverware. He would be our transportation, bedroom, pantry, kitchen and trusted companion for our two-week adventure through the national parks and other nooks and crannies of the Southwest.
