Ranked Lonely Planet’s top country to visit in 2017, we are excited to offer our first Canadian location, eh! Vancouver, British Columbia, is a perfect launching point for a variety of campervan trips, from Whistler and the Pacific Northwest to Banff and Jasper National Parks down to Glacier National Park in Montana. The electric blue waters of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are just a day’s drive away! The city of Vancouver itself is definitely worth exploring. It’s surrounded by mountains, and also has thriving art, theatre, and music scenes.
2 hours from Whistler | 2 hours from North Cascades National Park | 9 hours from Banff | 11 hours from Glacier National Park
Please note that operating in Canada is a little different than the US, so here are several important details regarding Vancouver rentals: We have a limited supply of campervans available. We offer round-trip Vancouver bookings, or one-ways to Calgary from Vancouver. Supplemental Liability Insurance cannot be offered on Vancouver rentals. However, the minimum liability insurance provided for rental vehicles in Canada covers $1,000,000 CAD worth of third-party damage (a much higher number than minimum liability insurance provided in the USA).
Directions tips: We recommend a taxi (Vancouver doesn’t have Uber or Lyft yet). We’re in unit 7 & 8. Note that we do not allow parking of personal vehicles at our depot.
