Forget RVs, Get A Campervan Rental For The Ultimate Trip to Zion National Park!

You’ve probably known people who rented an RV for Zion National Park. However, there are many benefits of getting a campervan rental instead. An Escape campervan comes with many of the same amenities that an RV does, but in a colorful, more mobile package. Similar to an RV, a campervan has a working kitchen, a table and bench, and a queen-size bed. However, all of it’s much more compact and easier to use. The kitchen and bed only unfold when you want to use them. So it’s like there’s a secret campsite ready to be unfurled whenever you need it.

When you have a Zion campervan rental, your adventure isn’t confined to major highways or full RV campsites. Campervans can easily camp at smaller tent sites. And campervans don’t require the electric or sewer hookups like an RV does. You can also go dispersed camping in a campervan!

But Which Escape Campervan Should You Rent For Zion?

There are a few factors to keep in mind when figuring out which Escape Campervan to take to Zion

Our most popular campervan is the Mavericks. This campervan has a cozy queen-size bed, foldaway in-van table and benches, a 2-burner propane stove, dual powered refrigerator, and a sink. The Mavericks is perfect for a couple’s getaway to Zion. But it can sleep 5, so feel free to bring your kids. We also have rooftop sleepers if you need a place for the kids to have their own space.

If you want extra room for your stuff, or if you’re taking an extended trip, you might want to try the Big Sur campervan. Here you get the same amenities as the Mavericks. Yet it’s big enough that you don’t have to fold down the bucket seats to unfold your queen-size bed. The Big Sur also comes with more storage space. So feel free to bring that extra bathing suit. You can even rent the optional rooftop sleeper.

For individual travelers or couples, you can reserve the Santa Cruz campervan model. This campervan provides the functionalities of our larger campervan models in a compact package. *The Santa Cruz campers are only available in our Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles depots.

Escape campervans rentals include our unique hand-painted exteriors. You can also rent campervan extras such as kitchen kits, bike racks, and child safety seats to make your trip more comfortable. And with your rental, you’ll receive outstanding customer care and 24/7 roadside assistance at no charge!

Where Will You Pick Up Your Zion Campervan Rental?

You’ll need to pick up your Escape campervan in Las Vegas to start your campervan vacation to Zion National Park. We’re located on Service Ct, which is just 15 minutes away from McCarran International Airport. We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to our depot.

Once you arrive, our campervan depot team will walk you around your Escape campervan, and show you how everything works. Remember to ask any questions you may have about your campervan or Zion National Park before leaving. We’re happy to help.

How To Get To Zion From Las Vegas?

Starting from the Las Vegas Escape depot, it’s about 2.75 hours to reach Zion, heading northeast along I-15. You’ll enter by the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. The entrance fee is $35/car for 7 days. You can also get the Interagency Annual Pass for $80, which gives you admission to all federal fee areas for one year.

What Are Awesome Places To Camp In Zion National Park?

Like most people, you could camp at South Campground or Watchman Campground. But better call first, though, as you want reservations — especially when it’s busy from March to November. Then again, you won’t need an oversized pad or water hookups, which means you can sleep almost anywhere!

For out-of-the-way campsites, you can try the Lava Point Campground, which is about an hour’s drive from Zion Canyon. Or try dispersed camping in Zion with your Escape campervan. Just remember, dispersed camping means roughing it without restrooms, showers, or fire rings, so you want to abide by the Leave No Trace principles.
