We love Arizona, home of one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon! But we want to take you a little past it to a beautiful place called Page, Arizona. Get ready to have your mind blown. Let’s start with some logistics of planning a trip there and then we’ll explore some of the adventures to be had!

Distance from main attractions & depots

Page is located just south of the Arizona/Utah border:

Best Restaurants in Page

  • Birdhouse: Straight up classically delicious fried chicken.
  • State 48 Tavern: Unique burgers (such as the Pear Burger)! All the food is fairly priced and good. If you are lucky enough there will be hot air balloons in the driveway!

Best Camping in Page

There are a lot of campgrounds around the area so you should be fine within a 30 min radius of Page being able to find one. But here are a couple of suggestions to book ahead of time.

Couple holding hands at Horseshoe Bend Page Arizona

Horseshoe Bend

This place is everything it’s cracked up to be! There are many amazing, fun tours you can take and even camp down in the canyon. However, you do not have to take a tour to view it, it is also very much a drive-up-get-out-walk-up-marvel-at from a bird’s eye view type of place. Be careful, there are no railings and it is very unregulated. Similar to the Grand Canyon, people have unfortunately gotten too close for a photo, slipped and plunged to their death at Horseshoe.

Also, keep in mind even though there is a parking lot it fills up quickly due to the popularity of this place. You will have crowds of people almost every day of the week. Plan on getting there early if you don’t want to wait for a parking place and capture that coveted people-less panoramic shot.

Antelope Canyon Page Arizona

Antelope Canyon

We did Upper Antelope Canyon. We have heard amazing reviews from both lower and upper but we can speak to the upper being absolutely incredible!

Tickets for tours range from $42-52 and book up months in advance! You might be lucky enough to show up and hope for a cancellation but I wouldn’t risk it. This is a bucket list item for many so try and get tickets as soon as you know it’s a possibility you are heading that way.

Glen Canyon Dam Page Arizona

Glen Canyon Dam

Damn! This place is a mind-blowing view and an impressive display of human labor. You can take tours or just view it yourself from the visitor center. There are a few places and information around if you decide to go that route. Want to get up close and personal with Glen Canyon? You can take tours by horseback, boat and more!
