Your Eugene Campervan Rental Starts With Escape

Smith Rock State Park Oregon campervan

When you are looking for a Eugene campervan rental, try Escape Camper Vans. Our Portland campervan rental location is just over the bend and the perfect way to start your next adventure. By grabbing your van in Portland, you’re close to the Oregon Coast, Mt. Hood National Forest, or Crater Lake National Park. Or buckle up for a transcontinental road trip in your tricked-out campervan.

Why Drive A Campervan Rental For The Ultimate Road Trip

Your Eugene campervan rental brings unbridled freedom. Sleep at a national park and stop worrying about rainy weather. Then, you can head to anywhere you want on your own itinerary. With an Escape Campervan, you’re wandering as you feel in the moment, knowing that each campervan trip is special.

What makes a campervan trip an unforgettable time is the campervan itself. All our vans are intuitive to drive and come with a queen-sized bed, fully-functioning kitchen with a two-burner propane stove, and an awesome exterior. Unlike an oversized RV, campervans operate just like a car and can be small enough for most tent camping sites. You can even try dispersed camping using your Escape campervan — just remember to abide by the Leave No Trace ideals.

What Eugene Campervan Rental Is Right For You?

You will have plenty of models when choosing your Eugene campervan rental. Most choices are between campervan size, storage, and where you’re going.

The Mavericks campervan is our most booked model. With the Mavericks, you’ll get a comfy queen-size bed, a foldaway in-van table and seats, a 2-burner propane stove, a mini-fridge, and a sink. It’s a safe rental if you want a short trip to the Oregon Coast. Or, the Mavericks also works well for a week-long stay at Crater Lake National Park. Add on a rooftop sleeper, and an entire family of five has enough room to sleep.

The Big Sur campervan is a scance more spacious than the Mavericks and gives you more storage for your friends and family. You still get a 2- burner stove in the van, but you won’t have to fold down the rear seats for your van’s bed. The Big Sur is perfect if you need some more storage space or for those bigger road trips further away.

Want a picnic table or child safety seat for your Eugene Campervan rental? Look at all our extras and accessories that you can earmark for your drive. And rest assured, you’ll get excellent customer care and 24/7 roadside assistance as complimentary services!

Crater Lake inspires awe. Native Americans witnessed its formation 7,700 years ago, when a violent eruption triggered the collapse of a tall peak. Scientists marvel at its purity—fed by rain and snow, it’s the deepest lake in the USA and one of the most pristine on Earth. Artists, photographers, and sightseers gaze in wonder at its blue water and stunning setting atop the Cascade Mountain Range.

Crater Lake National Park is open year-round, 24 hours a day. Some roads, trails, and facilities, however, are closed seasonally due to snow. North Entrance Road, and West and East Rim Drives close for the season on November 1 (or earlier if there is significant snowfall). Crews begin removing snow from these roads in April, but opening dates vary. The North Entrance Road and West Rim Drive tend to open in early June. The East Rim Drive typically opens in early July.

You’ll find us at 5241 NE 89th Ave, and you can leave your ride at the City Center Parking lot. Many of our customers take a taxi-like option, like Lyft or Uber, to the depot.

Once you pick up your ride in Portland, it’s off to Mt. Hood National Forest by using I-84 W. Or experience Crater Lake National Park and close by at 3 hours away. Maybe you have the dream of a transcontinental trip. It’s relatively easy to pull off when you travel the Highway 70 route. Then return your van at any Escape destination and grab a flight back home.
