Your Bend Campervan Rental Begins With Escape

Escape campervan at Tokeetee campground

When you need a Bend campervan rental, try Escape Camper Vans. Our Portland Campervan rental location is just a few miles away and a great way to start your next camping trip. By picking up your van in Portland, you’re ready to go to Portland Japanese Garden, Mt. Hood National Forest, or Crater Lake National Park. You can even head off on a transcontinental road trip in your tricked-out campervan.

Why Drive A Camper Van Rental For The Ultimate Road Trip

You don’t know camping until you bring along your Bend, Oregon camper van rental. Sleep at a national park with no worry about what it’s like outside. Then, it’s off to anywhere you want without a worry in the world. With an Escape Campervan, you’re exploring as you see fit, knowing that every camper van outing is unique.

What makes a campervan road trip so special? The camper van, of course! All our campers are easy to drive and are equipped with a queen-sized bed, fully-functioning kitchen with a 2-burner propane stove, and an awesome paint job. Unlike a bulky RV, camper vans operate like any car and should be able to park on most tent camping pads. You can even disperse camp in your Escape Campervan — just remember to abide by the Leave No Trace ideals.

All campervans have drawer fridges.

What Bend Campervan Rental Will You Choose?

You have a few different choices when choosing your Bend, Oregon campervan rental. Most choices come down to campervan size, passenger space, and itinerary.

The Mavericks campervan is our most asked about model. With the Mavericks, you’ll get a soft queen-size bed, a foldable table and seats, a dual-burner propane stove, dual powered refrigerator, and a sink. It’s an easy pick if you want a quick getaway to the Warm Springs Reservation. Still, the Mavericks has enough room for a family campout at Crater Lake National Park. Tack on a rooftop sleeper, and the kids can even snag their own personal sleeping space.

The Big Sur campervan runs a scance larger than the Mavericks and offers you more storage for your family. You still have a full stove and sink in the back, but you don’t have to move the back seats in order to use the queen-size bed. The Big Sur is perfect if you need a little extra storage space or more leg room for longer road trips further away.

Want a child safety seat, or kitchen set for your Bend campervan rental? Look at all our extras that you can rent for your drive. And don’t worry, you’ll get superb customer service and around-the-clock roadside assistance at no additional cost!

About Crater Lake National Park

Crater Lake inspires awe. Native Americans witnessed its formation 7,700 years ago, when a violent eruption triggered the collapse of a tall peak. Scientists marvel at its purity: fed by rain and snow, it’s the deepest lake in the USA and one of the most pristine on earth. Artists, photographers, and sightseers gaze in wonder at its blue water and stunning setting atop the Cascade Mountain Range.

Crater Lake National Park is open year-round, 24 hours a day. Some roads, trails, and facilities, however, are closed seasonally due to snow. North Entrance Road, and West and East Rim Drives close for the season on November 1 (or earlier if there is significant snowfall). Crews begin removing snow from these roads in April, but opening dates vary. The North Entrance Road and West Rim Drive tend to open in early June. The East Rim Drive typically opens in early July.
